I was building a bedroom recording studio so wanted something that gave studio vibes, most desk mats are kinda targeted towards gamers with anime prints & I had been looking for one with a rug print which I could only find here.
The product description says water resistant and easy to clean, I would like to add that it DOES absorb water. I had a chilled glass water bottle kept on the corner of my mat and It did absorb all the condensed droplets which slid down the bottle, it did quickly dry as-well tho but just something to keep in mind.
My desk is 160cm by 70cm and the mat was 90cm by 40cm so covers a decent portion of the desk and looks nice, complements the whole setup if you want to build something that looks like a Pinterest setup picture lol.
The other review states it looks nice but on a closer glance the print might feel pixelated, but then even an actual rug will have that pixelated stitched look when you’re closer to it, so technically it runs true to real life appearance of a rug (just my perspective).
Got it for a discounted price on freedom sale 765/- (I guess worth the price considering most mats online are closer to 1k for the same XL size).
TLDR
Good, took 1 star off as its not water repellant (could help if you drink on your desk and might spill that beer 😂)
design - what i wanted , but a little pixelated but really good.
gaming feel- also good .
goes really well with all black theme setup with a persian rug.
